I wanted to make this area of the website dedicated to communicating directly with you. I'm a great believer that when you choose to do business with a company or take professional advice, you're investing in their ethics and principles as people... Not just their professional credentials. Hopefully this might shed some light on where I'm coming from!
On a personal note, I'm very proud to say that I accomplished a childhood ambition of starting a design consultancy, (with the help of some fine individuals) However, it was exactly that; only the start, the first step in a journey which continues every day.
I am extremely grateful and humbled that people take an interest in what I (we) do, let alone actually employ me to do it. So thank you sincerely for visiting the site as your shared enthusiasm is what continues to inspire me to expand Hancock & Fox into new territories.
I decided to call this section of the website the “Designer’s Journal” rather than a blog as it's a collection of longer written pieces as opposed to brief, topical commentary.
There are already thousands of blogs and websites about the latest trends, colours, fashions and interior design tips out there so the world doesn't need another! I feel that would be a waste of both our time. There are so many such blogs and pages that it becomes ineffective white noise.
As a large part of my own job is as a consultant and creative director, I thought it could be useful to illustrate my views and methods by writing about various subjects and ideas which you could find informative and insightful (maybe even mildly entertaining where possible!).
If you have any questions or suggestions at all, please feel free to contact me directly at paulhancock@hancockandfox.com and I would be delighted to give my input where possible.
Please follow the links below to either view the entries or go back to the Hancock & Fox main website. Thanks for visiting!
